So I have decided that teens need...MORE HAPPY DAYS!

yeah, that's right. I know you all think it's a good idea. I mean come on it's a freaking amazing idea. ;)

What we all need is more happiness! Don't let stupid people get you down, it's not worth it. Especially if it's something really stupid. Life's too short to be sad. (I know, that phrase is overused, but I like it. :))

Hey and maybe the stupid people could get happier too! We'll just be like one big happy bunch of friends! Seriously guys, we should do it. :D

Anyway, moving on now that everyone is happy, I would like to explain how excited I am for Christmas break! (oh did I just say Christmas? I mean Holiday..tee hee hee) I just love the feeling of being with your family on Christmas. It's almost as good as cookies. :D Almost. haha. I just hope I don't have a lot of homework....that would not be too good. But look on the bright side! Everyone eventually finishes homework! It just takes that amount of effort...if any at all. haha

So, I really really love Ms. Parrish's class. I know I've said this before, but I'll say it again. We have just started writing in journals we are now keeping for the rest of the year. We have to write observations and how it makes us feel. It's actually really entertaining. I love it! :D Yay for happy classes!

Has it really been that long?

Holy cow! I have not posted a blog...in like...FOREVER!
So I thought today would be a great day to do that.

First off, I would like to say my Thanksgiving was fantastic. Hope everyone elses was too. :D The end.

Well, what should I write about? I have not really been to a movie in like forever....kinda sad. It's because I go to school, do layout for Journalism, go to work, get home and go to sleep. That has been my days for the past week. Hopefully next week will be much better. Say bye to social life. :(

I should be at work right now...but I called in sick. I am getting a cold and the fact of being on my feet for eight hours didn't sound very fun. You all may think I'm pathetic, but oh well. I didn't want to go. The end.

Instead, I did my homework for Math and English. The math homework was not very fun..like usual..but I LOVED the English. We are writing a Synthesis Essay on Puritanism for AP English, and I enjoyed it very much so. I love writing stuff. I guess I'm just weird like that. But I love Parrish's class. It's just so FUN! :D It makes me smile. That class really brightens up my day if I'm having a bad one.

So on Monday I have two tests that I really don't want to take because they both deal with numbers and equations: Physics and Pre calculus. blah. not fun. That is something I will be doing tomorrow so it will be fresh on my mind...studying for these two dreadful tests.

Journalism layout is almost done!!!! woo hoo!!! I just have some minor adjustments to finish up, but after that it's most likely done! We're publishing on December 7th!

Finally writing again!

Hello everyone!
Thought i would write a post today since I haven't written for so long...haha.

Let's start with the Current Events.....THE UTES WON COLORADO! ok..glad we got that over with..hehe. I still have faith that my utes will beat BYU..but we'll see how it turns out. I even made a bet with Kortney's dad! Boo ya!

So.....working eights hours a day really puts a damper on you. My legs still hurt. Wow. Or maybe it's still from handstanding. Who really knows right?

Moving on.....

Go see The Prestige if you haven't already. It's a really really really good movie that keeps you thinking. I love those movies. I would love to see it again so if anyone goes let me know! It's amazing. If you have already seen it...I'm sure you would like to see it again. Hopefully.

Moral of the story....I did better on my math test than I expected! Brownie points!

I have also come to the conclusion that Parrish is a funny person. She makes me laugh. :D

My new Job!...and current events...

I have a job now! woo hoo! I am excited. I went to training at JCPenny's today for about 3 hours...and i am getting paid to watch movies! wow! I don't know when I start my official job, since I do have training again on Monday. But we'll see how it turns out! Totally stoked though! :D

So what has been going on in my life lately? Well, naturally, school and homework. I mean that's a given. Now that the play is over, I think I'll have more time for homework, and a job. This shall be exciting. But I do not want my grades to plummet cuz that would be bad. BAD I TELL YA!....haha yeah anyway...Eric is having another Lost marathon tomorrow which I totally hope I can go to! Pretty sure I can!! And then on Saturday, Katie's Halloween Party!!! woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!! I"m so excited to wear my awesome costume!!! It's going to be very exciting. :D I can feel it.....

End of Term is next week. Yikes. That's all I have to say about that. BUT also on November 2, is the season premiere of.....THE O.C.!!! yay!!! I'm so excited!! That's my other "get away from reality" show. I love it. It's going to be a great first episode.....:D

Play Performance, Take one

So hopefully as you all know, the first matinee of the Seussical the Musical was today. We performed for the little elementary kids. And actually it went quite well for it being the first show! I mean there were some things that can be tweaked, including pit orchestra stuff, but it was so cool to be in the pit again!! I love the feeling! :D And the parts that I didn't play, I watched the fabulous cast do their thing! lol

We have another performance tomorrow for the junior high kids, and it's sure to be a blast! I'm way stoked! Hopefully all goes well, and there won't be any major disasters. Cross your fingers!

Unfortunately, the play performers are getting extremely exhausted. Which is to be expected because they have been practicing for hours on end! More than the pit! I heard that some people had to be at the school this morning at 6 a.m. to practice and get stuff ready. wow. I am so sorry for all of them. I can just imagine how hard that can be.

Eric's House and School

So pretty much Eric is a very good entertainer. Lost is pretty much the most intense show ever. Right next to Smallville. :D So if anyone has the second season, let me know. I really want to watch it. Good times last night. Woot Woot. I loved how everyone was texting. Classic.

School tomorrow. That sucks. Hectic Week alert! Production week and play week. Wow.

Past Experiences

So I wrote this blog on Myspace around the end of last year..... tell me what you think.

"I just wonder lately if all this drama is worth it. I don't think it is, but yet it follows me like a lost little puppy. Now tell me why...because I don't know. I've been thinking about all the past experiences this year that have caused so much pain for people. Some sacrificese are worth sacrificing for. I have found that out through my many friends and how happy they became. but...some can just be not worth it. Life is a time to go through tough times and good times, and the drama we have right now is only the beginning of a rough hardship in the future. but who knows it could be a little fun along the way. ;) I think to myself....'Is this just the beginning?' And I honestly believe it is. High School gets your prepared for the real world. I am very optimistic about this issue because I see the glass as half full....and how life goes on. Not sinking away to a glass that is half empty. Certain people can change your life in many ways. They make you realize that life is worth living because they care about YOU. Those people are my heroes. Plain and simple. So if drama hits you, just accept it and eventually it will go away while leading to something else. Don't dwell on the past. Look towards a good future! :D"

Wow this is pretty need stuff. I am now officially known as a "blogger." I decided to join the blogging world because of my friends! I'm such follower...it's great!

Well, what is new with my life? For starters, there is a Utah game today at 1:00 against Wyoming. I hear they have a fabulous defense. I feel my Utes can pull through it though. I have faith in them. :D GO UTES! Unfortunately, I can't watch it on tv because it's only on comcast. That sucks. But I'm sure I'll hear highlights and all that fun stuff.

Last night was very entertaining. A couple of friends, my sister and I went to Nightmare on 13th haunted house. In my opinion, it is one of the better haunted houses in the valley of Utah. Other people may disagree with me, *cough* Jared *cough*, but that is ok. I had a lot of fun! My most definite favorite haunted house, however, is The Haunted Forest. That was my very first haunted house I have ever been to, and it was so much fun. I think it was so much fun because...well....it was OUTSIDE! Freakin awesome! I haven't been there for a while though. I would try to go next weekend, but that is the play weekend.

which brings me to my next subject.......THE PLAY!

So, as you all hopefully know, Taylorsville is putting on the Seussical the Musical play. It's way different than Cinderella. I mean it's Seuss! I'm sure all of you can imagine how that is. ;) The songs are so much fun! I am down in the pit, so I don't perform on stage. But I think being in the pit is just as important as being on stage. I mean, without music, what would a musical be? My point exactly. haha. Anyway, you all should see it because it's going to be amazing. It's coming along real well, and the opening night is October 19! woo hoo!
